The Sandboxie sandbox would let you run IE in a special zone. Some time later your lotro account is hacked and you lose your gold and goods. It records all of your keystrokes regardless of whether you're typing them in IE or in your lotro launcher.
Let's say you're running your never-safe IE browser and you pick up a keylogger which is then launched. A sandbox in this sense is an area where programs can run without causing harm to the rest of your computer. Sandboxie (available at ) is small Windows program that lets you run various other programs in a sandbox. This program might be old news to some of you but I only heard about it a few days ago.
